Before We Die: National Assembly

When hundreds of families stand together, we create a force that decision‑makers cannot ignore. The Assembly brings our nationwide membership into one powerful space to set priorities, sharpen our message, and build coordinated pressure. You’ll hear the latest campaign updates, learn what’s working, and help shape the next wave of action.

Before We Die started with one question, asked by families who could not get an answer from the State: who will care for my son or daughter when I am no longer able to?

Over the past year, that question has moved from kitchen tables into the Dáil chamber. We've secured meetings with the Taoiseach, the Tánaiste and the Minister of State for Disability. Our campaign informed a Private Members' motion debated in Dáil Éireann. We've been heard on national radio, in the Oireachtas, and in newsrooms around the country.

This event is where our members, carers and families come together to take stock of where the campaign stands, understand exactly what we're asking Government for and why, and leave equipped to carry that fight back to your own community.

Families are travelling from every county for this. We'd love for you to be one of them.

This event is free. If you're planning to join us, we do ask that you book a ticket in advance so we can plan for numbers on the day.
